DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking a Release Manager in Jersey City, NJ.Responsibilities:* Release Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage technology releases across multiple applications and teams* Develop release schedules, deployment plans, and readiness checkpoints to support successful delivery* Facilitate release planning, status meetings, readiness reviews, and stakeholder communications* Identify, track, and mitigate release risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers* Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of production deployments* As a Release Manager, you will monitor release activities, manage escalations, and support post-release validation efforts* Prepare release metrics, dashboards, and executive-level status updates* Drive continuous improvement of release management processes, governance, automation, and operational stabilityRequirements* 5+ years of experience in Release Management, Program Management, Production Support, or a related field* Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional technology initiatives and software releases* Experience managing project timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communications* Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies* Strong understanding of release management, change management, and deployment processes* Proficiency with project management, collaboration, and reporting tools* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills* Excellent communication and facilitation abilities across technical and business teams* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment* Experience within regulated industries or large enterprise environments is a plus* PMP, Agile, or related certifications are preferredJob TypeContractCompensation54 - $60
