Job Description:

Position: Dietitian

Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire

Setting: Level I Academic Medical Center

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• 5x8-hour day shifts
• Possible weekend coverage
• 39 hours per week

Travel Pay Package:

• $2,662 per week total. Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals

Overview:

• Assess patient nutritional status using medical records, clinical findings, and established nutrition standards
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
• Counsel patients and families regarding nutrition-related conditions and dietary needs
• Identify patients at nutritional risk and provide recommendations to the healthcare team
• Participate in physician rounds, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary care conferences
• Assist with development of nutrition policies, educational materials, and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide educational programs for patients, staff, and community groups
• Work within the largest hospital system in New Hampshire

Requirements:

• Active Dietitian license required (NH license can be obtained upon offer)
• Acute hospital experience required
• Must have Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience within the last 2 years
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field preferred
• Drug screen including THC required for clearance
• Strong clinical nutrition assessment and patient counseling experience required
