Key Responsibilities

Administer ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians
Operate a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator as part of daily treatment delivery
Document and manage patient information using Mosaiq EMR
Provide compassionate care and maintain strong communication with patients throughout the treatment process
Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary radiation therapy team
Demonstrate attention to detail, flexibility, and dependability in a fast-paced clinical environment

Required Qualifications

Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T)
Certification of Therapeutic Radiologic Technology (RTT)
Applicable State Certification of Therapeutic Radiologic Technology for the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor

Preferred Experience / Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Radiological Technology or equivalent; Master's Degree a plus
Prior experience in radiologic technology, particularly in a radiation therapy setting
CPR certification from an approved vendor
Fluoroscopy Permit from the applicable state Department of Health Services
