Job Title: Registered Sleep Technician Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: State Certification Required Certifications: BLS, RPSGT Must-Have: - First-time travelers are welcome - Weekend availability required per unit needs Description: This position requires a Registered Sleep Tech to work night shifts. The scheduled hours are from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The position involves performing various sleep diagnostic tests. Candidates must have experience with adult multiple sleep latency tests and baseline sleep polysomnography. Skills in monitoring end-tidal CO2, managing CPAP, and understanding sleep stages are required. Knowledge of respiratory events and related procedures is essential. Additional skills in patient education and infection control are necessary. The positions require flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining compliance with established protocols and standards. The facility has 12 staffed beds and provides care for adolescents and adults. Applicants should be prepared to work in a supportive and interdisciplinary environment.
