Responsibilities And What You Will Do:

• Proofread and edit written content to ensure proper grammar, clarity, and accuracy.
• Review graphics and visual assets to ensure all content meets established brand guidelines, instructions, and campaign requirements, and revise as needed.
• Identify and correct inconsistencies in spelling, punctuation, formatting, tone, and messaging across all content types.
• Collaborate with content creators and designers by providing clear, constructive feedback and implementing revisions as needed.
• Ensure all final deliverables meet quality standards before publication, maintaining consistency across all platforms and campaigns.
• Monitor communication channels and assigned tasks daily (Monday–Thursday) and respond within 24 hours.
• Attend the monthly ARO Company Meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30 pm EST.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week.
• EST availability required.
• Long-term volunteer commitment (12+ months) required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
• Comfortable reviewing and editing both written content and visual/graphic materials.
• Ability to give and receive feedback professionally and implement revisions effectively.
• Strong understanding of brand consistency, tone, and content guidelines.
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple pieces of content.
• Some background using Canva, Slack, and Asana preferred.
