With decades of craftsmanship behind us and a growth-focused future ahead, we're proud to deliver quality work and a great experience for our customers and team alike.We're expanding our W2 crew and looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Siding Installer who takes pride in precision work and wants to grow with a company that values skill, teamwork, and long-term success.As an Expert Siding Installer, you'll take a lead role in executing high-quality siding installations and repairs — from measuring and layout to final finish work — while helping guide and mentor less experienced crew members. You'll work closely with the site supervisor to ensure every project meets Tacheny's standards for craftsmanship, efficiency, and safety.This is a hands-on, full-time position with opportunities for advancement and year-round employment.Duties/Responsibilities:Independently install siding materials (vinyl, fiber cement, engineered wood, steel, etc.) with precision fit, flashing, and finishRead and interpret blueprints, measurements, and manufacturer specs to ensure proper installationPerform trim, corner, and detail work to a high finish standardIdentify and resolve on-site installation challenges (uneven surfaces, moisture barriers, complex angles, etc.)Mentor and guide junior installers on proper technique and best practicesFollow safety protocols and job site proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work areaSupport quality control by inspecting completed work for accuracy and craftsmanshipCommunicate clearly and professionally with crew, supervisors, and customersParticipate in ongoing training to stay current on materials and techniquesPerform other related duties as assignedCompensation:Pay Range: $30–35/hour, based on experienceBenefits:Health w/HSADentalVisionShort- and Long-Term DisabilityLife InsuranceAccident InsuranceCritical Illness Insurance401(k) w/match3 weeks of PTO7 Paid HolidaysRequirements:Required Skills/Abilities:3+ years of hands-on experience installing siding in a construction or exterior remodeling setting is required.Proficient with the hand tools and power tools used in siding installation (saws, nail guns, brakes, snips, etc.)Strong working knowledge of siding materials, flashing, and moisture barrier best practicesAbility to read blueprints, measurements, and manufacturer installation specsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditionsReliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseStrong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detailProven ability to work independently and mentor less experienced crew membersPositive attitude and ability to work well as part of a teamPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneelingMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a timeMust be able to safely work with sharp tools and power equipmentMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrainsMust have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordinationAll offers of employment are contingent on a background check.
