SEO Specialist

Job Summary

As an SEO Specialist, you will be tasked with delivering top-notch results and account management services for Aqueous Digital's diverse clientele. Your technical proficiency, coupled with the ability to clearly communicate and represent the agency in client interactions, will be crucial.

Your role extends beyond routine technical SEO responsibilities. It will include coordinating content production, conducting extensive competitor and gap analyses, and staying abreast of SEO trends and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of Google's algorithms and be competent in crafting and executing a successful SEO strategy to bolster organic search.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of SEO experience, preferably within an agency setting
• Develop and implement robust SEO strategies to enhance organic search results
• Conduct thorough keyword research to identify new opportunities and drive keyword expansion
• Ensure optimal site management and performance
• Generate comprehensive reports on SEO effectiveness and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Plan and execute creative link building strategies to achieve set KPIs
• Develop, manage, and ensure timely implementation of the SEO strategy
• Drive SEO initiatives to boost traffic, conversion, and revenue across both B2C & B2B markets
• Evaluate campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Webmaster tools, AHrefs, and Semrush
• Contribute to strategy formulation, keyword research, competitor analysis, landing page optimisation, and regularly liaise with clients or stakeholders
• Proactively identify potential issues and propose solutions for maximum efficiency
• Stay informed and communicate the latest SEO developments to stakeholders

Key Skills and Attributes

• Proven account management skills, adept at maintaining regular communication with clients through emails and calls, providing both verbal and written progress reports
• Strong background in SEO Management
• Familiarity and technical ability to work with HTML, CSS, and common CMS platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, Magento and other, bespoke, platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical, organisational, project management, and time management skills
• Deep understanding of technical SEO with an eagerness to learn more
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as AHrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Majestic, etc.
• Confidence in conducting SEO audits
• Utilize user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization methods to enhance website performance
• Capability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Effective team player
• Commitment to staying current with industry trends
• Experience or knowledge in the following: PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, competitor research, technical SEO expertise essential
