About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager for clients with annual revenue of $100MM to $2B as part of the Commercial Bank. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Participate in performing financial research, underwriting, and structuring of highly complex private banking as well as consumer and mortgage relationships within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional areaReview and research business financial statements and tax returns that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factorsResolve moderately complex issues and lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team, to meet project deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with Commercial Banking Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and mid level managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead projects and teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced individualsRequired Qualifications:4+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:4+ years of commercial underwriting experienceLoan negotiation (rates, terms, and collateral requirements) experienceUnderwriting experience including advanced commercial or specialty group relationship portfolio creditExtensive knowledge and understanding of credit policy, loan servicing, risk management and group underwriting requirementsKnowledge and understanding of commercial and specialty group banking products and servicesFormal credit trainingIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsStrong analytical skills including analyzing complex dataExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsA BS/BA degree or higherPrevious experience using nCinoJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position offers a hybrid work schedule Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
