Job Duties for High School English Teacher : * Prepare appropriate curriculum and annual plan to submit to administration for approval * Instruct High school students in the subject of English * Apply the curriculum as prepared and approved * Maintain student records of attendance, discipline, growth, etc. * Create and post lesson plans * Assign and grade assessments * Prepare and administer tests to evaluate students' progress * Maintain discipline in the classroom * Promote character in the school * Issue reports to inform parents of progress * Communicate regularly with parents to offer positive reinforcement regarding social and academic achievements of the students * Additional Duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor's degree in English or ELA Education and 1 year of experience as English Teacher at middle or high school level.
