Schedule:MondayFriday - 4:30pm 7:30pmApproximately 4 hours every weekend (Saturday or Sunday)Responsibilities Include:Daily vacuuming and mopping of classrooms and common areasCleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, classrooms, and high-touch surfacesStacking chairs and closing down classroomsGathering and taking out trash; resetting trash cans for the next dayRunning, unloading, and maintaining the dishwasherEnsuring blankets, linens, and cleaning cloths are properly laundered and storedRestocking paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and other facility supplies as neededOrganizing toys, classroom materials, and resource areasCleaning and maintaining the kitchen and staff break areasMaintaining the cleanliness of entryways, hallways, offices, and common spacesReporting maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management promptlyCompleting and/or assisting with weekend and seasonal deep cleaning projects and classroom resetsFollowing all licensing, health, sanitation, and infection-control proceduresMaintaining overall cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the centerClosing and securing the facility each evening/weekend, including locking all entrances, completing the end-of-day security check, and arming the alarm systemPerforming additional cleaning, sanitation, facility maintenance, and operational duties as assignedQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageDependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work scheduleReliable transportationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to prioritize tasks and complete work efficientlyAbility to lift up to 3550 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, standing, reaching, and lifting throughout the shiftComfortable using cleaning equipment and products safelyKnowledge of or willingness to follow all health, sanitation, and safety proceduresExperience in custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning preferredExperience working in a childcare, school, or healthcare setting is a plus
