Computer Repair TechnicianThe Computer Repair Technician I is responsible for basic to intermediate computer repair tasks, ensuring the optimal functionality of computer systems.ResponsibilitiesReplace laptop feet cushions, batteries, and keyboard keys.Conduct tests on computer hardware and ports.Audit retail production line items to prepare them for resale.Erase data from hard drives.Essential SkillsFamiliarity with Apple products and Apple OS.Familiarity with Windows-based products.Good written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to learn new technologies.Strong work ethic.Must be a team player.Ability to work in a production environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have experience with Apple or PC products, with an emphasis on repair experience.Skills in computer repair, troubleshooting, electronics, hardware/software, and diagnostics.Experience in functional testing and use of inspection equipment.The role is based in a technician lab environment, requiring hands-on work with computer components and repair tasks. The position involves working in a production setting, which may include physical activities such as handling and assembling hardware.
