Job Responsibilities
· Prepare construction technical requirements to meet the needs of each project.
· Prepare tender packages, invite bids, consolidate submissions, conduct preliminary contractor assessments, and recommend contractors to the Project Department for the next stage.
· Supervise construction technical work, including approval of shop drawings and construction methods.
· Manage contractor construction schedules.
· Coordinate construction activities among contractors.
· Manage quality and legal documentation.
· Manage construction quantities.
· Carry out other duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Industrial Construction.
· At least 5 years of experience in construction.
· Experience in industrial factory construction is required, together with an understanding of project delivery from tendering through construction.
· Experience preparing technical requirements and tender documents is preferred.
· Experience evaluating and working with contractors is preferred.
· Experience in technical construction supervision and managing schedules, quality, and construction quantities is preferred.
· Ability to read construction drawings and approve shop drawings, construction methods, and material submissions.
· Sound knowledge of construction codes and standards, including fire prevention and firefighting requirements.
· Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project is an advantage; no specific technical software is mandatory.
· Conversational English sufficient to communicate with foreign partners and contractors.
· Ability to research independently and work autonomously.
· Availability for frequent business travel.
